Are In-Image Video Ads Available for Publishers?

In Image Video Ads are now available. The incredible FConnect Tech team have created this highly unique, cookieless & contextual AI video ad unit that detects what your image is about and expands video content over the image, providing you with free, highly related video content and pre-roll advertisements.

The first image on mobile devices is usually scrolled past in less than half a second by GenZ users. Our “In-Image Connect” has increased that time to over two minutes on average, boosting our publishers and partners time-on-site by a further average of 32%

In-Image Ads of the past have simply been a standard banner stuck near the bottom of the image but the new In-Image Connect not only provides video content for publishers but also in-image video ad pre-rolls, giving you yet another extra revenue stream that would otherwise be unused.

With the hypersonic growth of AI, InImage Video Ads are now starting to appear on numerous sites but not many ad networks are providing them, this may be because they're unaware that they work or it could be because of the heavy cost of the AI required to get it right.

As with all advertising products for publishers there are advantages to using InImage Video Ads. Here, we go through four of them.

Relatability:

Standard InImage Ads simply have a banner placed somewhere in the image, normally at the bottom. It's rarely related to the image in question and if it is, it's generally pure luck. With In-Image video ads you will get content that is related to the image in question, and, as the content is related, the advertiser, if discerning, will advertise a product they too feel is related.

Engagement:

InImage Video Ads should contain content first, which is clicked, providing either a pre or mid roll video ad at some stage. The content could be a few minutes long, meaning your users will spend more time on your site rather than the "less than a second" blitz past the image onto the text. The user will hopefully still read the content they've arrived at, but the InImage Video Ad, with related content, will lead the user to spend extra time on site and engage more prior to reading the full article.

Higher Earnings:

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last ten or so years you will already know that video views will earn you more than views of display ads and the same goes for InImage Video Ads. The user could end up seeing the image, seeing the content appear and spend the next 15-30 minutes watching content which may include 4 or 5 pre-rolls which pays publishers a lot more than scrolling past standard in-image ads.

3rd Party Ads Boost:

Time-on-site and engagement are items that advertisers look at in a big way. If they notice a website has users spending a good amount of time on there, they'll spend much more to try and get their ads on that website. Therefore by using in-image video ads you're not only earning more by using that unit, you're also boosting the time-on-site and creating a fantastic knock-on effect by boosting earnings by other ad partners you have on your site.
